Miranda rights are named after a not particularly nice dude named Ernesto Miranda who got arrested for armed robbery, kidnapping, and rape. He confessed, but was not informed of his right to a lawyer or that his confession would be used against him. He was sentenced to jail. The Supreme Court overturned it and ordered a retrial. He was sentenced to jail again, but fairly this time. After his release he was eventually stabbed in a bar fight and that was the end of him. Now police warn all suspects of their rights before getting into interrogation.

When I joined my username was my Instagram account name, which people know; I quickly realized that people I know in real life are on here & I wanted anonymity. Wanted a word that would be different, sound fun and interesting and still mean something. After a few minutes of thinking this just popped into my head and it was random enough to be perfect!

I was very idealistic at the time. Hashem helped me out of some very hard things and years I've been through.
Now I'm in a much better place and juggling lots of good and happy things, but it's still a lot and I don't have as much time to focus on Hashem.

Between you and Sanguine (a”h) my vocabulary is expanding!
I love language. As much as I love raising my family in Eretz Yisroel, it does hurt a tiny bit how poor their vocabulary is. (At least I have taught them the appreciation of the horrors of "me and —" and "funner")
