It's a very hot day and she is kinda smelly. Is it too early to start with deodorant? Which one do I get for her?

I had to start last year with my dd when she was 8. I discussed with the pediatrician who said to get her a natural deodorant. I just browsed Amazon till I found one that sounded good and that’s what she’s been using.
