I saw some things posted from previous years, but things are always changing.

Would like to go for couple days to Tannersville just DH and I.

Anyone went to Melour? What can you tell me about it? Rooms, amenities, food decent? etc.

What minyanim are available?

What other kosher food is there? Anything additional within an hour?

What are some activities? Outdoors and indoors. We're not really hiking type but would do really brief to see some nice scenery etc.

Also, anything to do along the way? Within an hour's drive?

I was just at the Melour for a shabbos. It was a great experience. We had a room in the main building which is supposed to be the nicer rooms. It’s older but was clean and cozy. We had a porch. Food was very tasty and there was a nice crowd. Mostly chasidish but all types.
We only stayed a little for Sunday so we did the chair lift up and down hunter mountain it was beautiful.
Then we walked 10 minutes to see a nice big waterfall at a diff location.
The hotel has suggestions of attractions to visit.
There’s a shul in the hotel and then chabad not too far away.
There’s a grocery not too far too.

Shuls - Melour, Chabad, Boston (chassidish), KBY (yeshivish), White shul (oldest shul in town)
Food - Melour, Country K (groceries plus fresh baked goods and takeout menu)
Activities - hiking, boating, swimming, Hunter Mt. gondola, Mt. Tremper giant kaleidoscope show (google it), Kaaterskill Falls, and much more!

Kaaterskill falls is so great. Is the White Shul the Yekkish shul?

Can you buy breakfast, lunch, and supper at Country K? I want to go for one night, and the Melour is over $500.
Also, it seems as if the ski lift only operates weekends. Can anybody confirm that, or is that more than one?

Was originally a place where the Washington Heights community populated, but now it's all types and stripes.
