I can't speak for pricing but I've been very happy with fitting both at teachers and shoe dream

I second that. Tescher’s and Shoe Dream are great for first pair. Their fit is amazing.
Just FYI, Tescher’s is by appointment only.

For the first pair of shoes don’t go with cheapest.
A shoe dream and teschers are definitely the best for fitting first pairs
Please don’t go to a random store and if you do know who to use for fitting. For example at royal family, only use the owner, at london kids only use the owner. Don’t go to Hal (great shoes but terrible at fitting) and if you must only use the owner
