P3/title 1/para/seit job?

Hi all,

I have a BA not in anything education related. I currently do an office type job from home BH.
I always see ads in boro park for jobs like title 1, seit, para, p3, etc. How much do these pay? Is there a lot of outside school work like paperwork necessary? Do I need a special degree for any of these?

Thanks so much, any info would be helpful. I don't make too much now, about $30/hr before taxes so not sure if any of these r comparable or are more worth it than what I'm currently doing.

Yes, they pay more, but yes, you need a degree in special ed. I don't think you need a degree to be a para, but then again, you won't get paid more than $30/hour.

for title I I believe you don't need a special ed degree, just any degree. You may make about $50/hr. I am not sure. but when you work in a school, it's more likely to be part time, no holiday pay, etc. So that's also something to factor in. you can call the agencies to find out for sure.
