Hi! I'm recently married and new to wearing tichels and my sheitel. Currently I'm braiding my hair into two braids and then putting either a tichel or sheitel over. I find that my head is pretty itchy covered. I am thinking I may need to get a hair cut. Does anyone have any reconsiderations for the type of haircut to get to reduce itchiness?

Try a tight bun instead of braids. Even better if you put it in a tight bun when it is still wet... That way your hair will stay in place better. Also if you currently use mousse, try skipping it for a few days and see if it makes a difference

It's probably not the hair cut or style, it could be scalp sensitivity to something. I am always itchy - I think it's the hairspray used on the wig, but once my scalp is sensitive everything bothers it
