We live in Crown Heights where Labor Day is pretty insane so there's no school and we just stay home as much as possible

Elementary boys have no school, high school boys have regular schedule and girls didn't start yet.
This is the first year that uly has optional day from 9:00-12:00 (no bus service) and OT boys are welcome to join.

This year they start after. But when Rosh Hashanah falls earlier and they start before, they get a hald day like all legal holidays. I remember one year that they actually started on Labor Day and it was a half day, but the first day of school is usually a half day.

I didn't hear about ULY having a half day, my kids are in OT but I don't want them seeing the stuff going on on the streets, so I wouldn't send either way.
