Any tried and true methods that work? I tried moisturizing but it’s not really helping?

Put lots of Vaseline right before bed and go to sleep with socks.
Repeat a few night in a row if needed.

Yes, Vaseline works. But make the socks thin but waterproof, or cover them with Saran Wrap or a thin baggie. You don't want Vaseline all over your bedclothes or sleepwear.
This works for hands, too. Vaseline or a good hand cream in gloves.
