Is Kreiders a full day activity? Anything else to do around that area?

Thanks in advance!

we found kreiders such a waste of time and boring. you sit on a bus the whole time and then look at cows tushs while they're milked. its boring. skip it

We LOVED kreiders. Was the best trip. I definitely would do it. I wouldn't skip it.
Would you be open to doing Hershey Park?

We also loved Kreiders! The views from the silo were amazing. Took a couple of hours, definitely not full day.

Agreed kreiders is great! My kids are begging to go back again.

Some other attractions you can look into that we have enjoyed (sorry if some are already mentioned here)

Amish buggy rides
Strasburg railroad
Choo choo barn
National toy train musuem
Hands on house children's museums
Lancaster science factory
Here's potato chips factory

My kids don't enjoy animals but there are amish farms where you can interact with animals, hold them, feed them etc.

In lititz you can go to the treehouse playground and julius sturgis pretzel factory (not kosher so you cannot eat the samples)

Long's park is also nice

If you want to drive a bit to City Island you can go on a boat ride (pride of the susquehanna). I think there is also mini golf on the island

curious what you liked about it?
we were on a bus with the tour guide talking, then we went into a building and got plastic bottles of milk and saw cows going around a conveyer belt. took maybe 2.5 hours in total

My kids are the type who are fascinated by these kinds of things. They thought it was really cool to see hundreds of cows on the carousel, they enjoyed the scenery, the playground and silo was fun, the chocolate milk was delish

Do you know if it isn't? According to the website, it's only open on Weekends in October. I'd be thrilled to hear it's open!
