I’m having such depressing thoughts about my life. Being up at night always puts me in a terrible mindset. I think all the awful things I’ve been suppressing thinking about. I’m regretting all my life choices but knowing what made me make them. I’m feeling trapped and scared in my frum married life.

Same-
I think I finally fell asleep at 1:45 but for some reason I woke up at 2:30 and I can’t fall back asleep. It’s almost 4am! I have to be up at 7…
I’m thinking that it might have to do with the caffeine suppository I took at 3:30 this afternoon?
I’m awake thinking about my succos menu, looking for recipes, making a shopping list, trying to figure out how I can handle 5 sleepover guests for a week….(I can’t but no choice)
Also, I thought a lot about heavy issues I have to deal with while I was davening on Yom Kippur. Very heavy issues. Could be that’s keeping me awake too.
Bottom line, I just need to sleep so I can have a productive day.

Yes! I’m laying in bed thinking about food- even though I overate a few hours ago (and I’m 20 lbs overweight)

Same I barely slept. And by the time I fell asleep my toddler came into my room and bought her entire nursery with her (blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, books bottles…). Was not a good night. I have a long day ahead 🥱 Got to work, cook, pack, (staying first days, flying right afterwards), deep cleanup from Yom Kippur, laundry, make myself good nutritious food (feeling depleted after the fast), I have a wig appointment, dr appointment, drop off and pickup, take one kid to lessons, therapy ect…. Help.
Oh and there’s no food in the house.

I was up until 4am, the fast went pretty well but had a bad headache after breaking fast. I could not fall asleep, now I have to go work but have no energy.

I see I'm in good company. I have to be up for work in less than an hour and I still haven't fallen asleep. I'm not even sure falling asleep will still be worth it...

I am still up and its nearly time to wake up!
And my body is exausted so I have been in bed the entire night.
I did doze. But no deep sleep. Hope today is ok with work and my yom tov to do list.
