I'll try to answer as much as I can unless I feel it gives away my identity.
(I don't always have time to be on this site so I'm giving an hour of tonight and maybe sometime tomorrow, but if I don't respond after that please don't take it as I was avoiding your questions)

Lol. Yes and no. Unfortunately we are not wealthy (although hashem provides us everything we need) so I have to be very skimpy in what I spend (which I barely do) but when something really important and valuable to me comes up I open my hand to the best of my ability. I wonder what it would be had we had more money..

I had a fake passport in iran which I paid a lot of my savings for to get one to escape but my mother a"h ripped out up as she was scared I would get caught. In the end I went to another country legally (can't give details as it might give me away) and I found my husband there so I see it was all planned from above... later we came to the U.S

by now we already use forks lol , but are more accustomed to using spoons whenever we can. There is this dish called chelow kebab which is basically ground meat on long skewers bbqed... served with rice... we eat it with a spoon alone (which if it's other dishes that need a fork like salads or hard meat we definitely use them.)

I honesty most of my dishes I use the recipe for what inwas taught growing up so I dont go online that often unless I want to have variation or add something. There is this book by Reyna simnegar called Persian food by the non Persian bride (who I beleive lives in la) and has many delicious recipes there. I also believe she has a website. Otherwise I just either Google some recipes (and a lot of them have non kosher ingredients so you have to learn how to substitute accordingly) or I look on YouTube.
