Is MTA difficult to get into? For out of town families? Looking for a boys school. Jpf or right wing MO. Open to ideas.

Agreed - they have a high capacity so pretty much if a boy is a good fit he will be admitted. It's not artificially competitive since they can accommodate large grade sizes.
