I'm not the type to notice these things, but here's what happened to us on our Chol Hamoed trip today.
As we were driving on the highway, we saw a sign that stated YOUR NEXT TEXT MAY BE THE LAST ONE IN YOUR LIFE. I thought, "Whoa! That is a pretty strong and convincing message for drivers not to text!"
My dd said, "That's a real mussar haskel."
Shuv yom echad lifnei misas'cha.
As we continued on our trip, we were driving through farm/hick towns. I noticed these names of businesses.
First, AVODAH.
A few minutes later, we saw SCHAR.
I pointed both signs out to my family.
My dd commented, "First comes Avodah, then comes Schar!"
I'm not making this up!
And I was so happy that we were able to see the world- Hashem's world- through a Torahdik lens.
