When the time comes, we'll refer to it as pen1s or maybe pupik.

Urine will be pish and a bowel movement will be a BM.

In our house it's all just a bottom, they're little and I don't see any necessity for any more detail, although dd1, did learn at gan when one of the boys didn't close the toilet door that boys have "long bottoms" and girls have "short bottoms" she just has a sister, so she hadn't seen boys bits until that point. The funniest thing is that she thinks that animals with long tails are boys and animals with short tails are girls.

Rolling Laughter Oyyyyy!

My kids are so curious about their sister. First they were sure the cord was the peepee, but I told them it's not so they shouldn't get scared when it falls off. LOL

You teach the children that there are some things that can be talked about openly and other things privately. No matter what you call the body part.

Besides. He's a boy. All boys have pen1ses, that's the name of the body part.

Yes, but it gets really annoying and embarrassing when you have a preschooler who thinks it's hilarious to say the word aiver all the time.

For ds is peenie, tushie (and that's only dirty, when it's...DIRTY) and peepee and doodie for the things that go in a dirty diaper.

My sil's kids make wet or ichs and I don't know about their "private part" but I know when she nurses, she's nursing from her belly.

Different strokes for diff. folks.

Exactly. Benny knows all the names of his body parts. He knows he has a pe-nis. The only time he's ever used the word was when he was in the bath. If he starts to talk about it more, I'll have to remind him that it's something we only talk to Mommy and Daddy about.
