I put on top, like sprinkled. Also told everyone to put on their portion. It’s definitely not garbage.

Dissolve salt in some water, pour it over the kugel, and rebake for 1/2 hour.

you can put any leftover in the cholent and it will be fabulous. or bake chicken on top of it like a fake yapchick.
