Hello, BH my daughter is in seminary in EY now, and Maalot Israel came to talk to the girls. They offer reasonable rates to make a transcript, and if you join their program, it's usually a one year (intense) college program the year after seminary.
Do you know of girls who have completed this program? For what areas of study? Were they able to get into graduate programs if they wanted?
Has any one taken the transcript/ certificate and then gone to a different college? Which colleges accept the transcript?

What kind of degree are they getting - a certificate, associate's, or a bachelor's?

I'm fairly sure it's a bachelor's -- they apply lots of credits from seminary, and offer more courses they can test-for-credit before the program starts

We applied it towards my dds degree from BTI in Lakewood.
Its helpful to know which program you want to join and if they will accept maalot or make you spend the $ again anyway.

I went there, but 10+ years ago so this info may be not applicable anymore. I did speech. Together with my credits from seminary+cleps (do they still have those?) I was able to finish my BA at the end of that year. I got into a masters speech program afterwards, but not the best one out there by far. Plus it was private college so very expensive. (keep in mind for future planning). But did get my full degree in the end and am able to work as an SLP.
So basically, it works but not easy to get into the more competitive or cheaper/city college masters programs. Although I have heard of people getting in if they are really really smart have perfect grades and get an almost perfect grade on the SATs/ GREs.
