Oh so you're saying same shoresh/meaning?.but I think she was referring to parshas vayigash so I was wondering what the connection was

It fits Parshat Vayigash and if your dh is speaking at the bris he can connect it to the parsha of the week which will be Vayechi
If you want two names, Avichai Yisrael

Yaakov who passes away
Yisrael for Yaakov, and for his insisting that he be buried in Eretz Yisrael
Yosef who passes away
Any of the Shevatim who get brachos this week
Or names relating to hope and Geulah, because even though the Golus starts at the end of Vayechi the purpose is for getting out in the end.
