Have a wedding coming up very soon and I'm looking for a gorgeous black gown that is slenderizing. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I would really appreciate it since I'm pretty desperate since I don't have a lot of time left.

I got from augenbraun. They were so nice and pleasant to deal with. I'm very self conscious about my weight and they were so sensitive and did not make me feel humiliated like I often do in these situations.

Okay thanks for much for your response. Do you know what their price range for gowns are? I don't want to spend too much.
Also, did they have a decent selection of plus size gowns? Thanks!

Goldie shechter has a gemach for plus size gowns
She actually paid for me to go to stitch and sew and go to penina Piltz and make a gown and then have it in her gemach, and I know she's done that for other people too!
But she also may totally have what you're looking for

I don't remember exactly but with alterations, it was for sure over $500...

I bought a gorgeous black sequined long cardi/jacket from Roaman's online, and a long black short sleeved maxi dress ( to wear with a shell) from Jessica London. Something like $200 total. Looks very pretty and classy.

You can call ask before you go if they have your size in black!
Since there all gemachim, sometimes the gown you need is out! I've gone sometimes 2 or 3 times before finding a gown that I like and fit! (depends when you start and when is wedding!)

Google "plus size evening gown with sleeves" a lot of suggestions come up! All different prices.
If you don't like suggestions you can narrow your search (for example: less than $200 or add details, lace, sequins...)
