There used to be a singer who went by the name Yehuda! He had some really nice songs, like Higher and Higher and Gut fun Avrohom.
I haven't heard of him in a long while. Anyone heard of him? Or know if he put out anything recently? Or has he left the Jewish music scene?

Left the music scene decades ago.
Yes, he has some beautiful songs.

Correction
It seems he has more recent albums

I used to love his music!

This is his official website. It looks like the last thing he put was in 2016, but I don’t think he’s totally disappeared.

I’m from that decade and I remember his songs very well. Seems like he disappeared along with Kineret… anyone remember her?

I loved her too! Know who else I liked a lot? Chaim Tzadok (I wonder if he’s related to uziyah tzadok?) and ruti navon.

Oh wow, blast from the past! I remember him performing in my school, and my parents bought me a tape of his (remember tapes, lol). Yeah, I haven't heard anything of his in a very long time.

I was really into music then but I don’t remember Chaim Trading. I definitely remember Ruti Navon. She was only around for a short while and then completely disappeared. Does she live in Israel?

I was a Yehuda fan as well!!! I would listen to his music on the way to and from work. Who else carried a mini tape recorder and headphones in their bag? And that was what we called mini!!!!

Loved his songs. Yesh sochar and the song he wrote about a gadol's passing.

I translated his songs into Hebrew to help me stimulated in high school.

Kol Yisroel Chaverim is the one about the gadol dying

Got to watch him live multiple times, he was the "it" singer pre-Shwekey

He was my favorite too, I dont' recall much from him since the early 2000s.

He joined a host of other really popular musicians from that time period that were hot and then disappeared...
Gabay
Pruzansky
Dachs
Wald
I know Lipa went to college...but didn't do much after than.
