Been needing smartphone (filtered) cuz handle most of responsibilities of family, almost like a single mom. I need the ease of the smartphone. However, I end up using it for down time too, to fill a void, and that's not serving as a good ex to my kids of various ages and stages. I feel guilty. I can either say too bad, or thinking to use separate line- flip, to restrict myself and pay data on 2 lines.
Just wondering what do other single or like single moms do in this area?

There plenty of households where none of the heads of household have a smartphone.
I think it’s a false premise.
It’s a choice.
I think it boils down to how committed you are to not having the smartphone.
It’s hard to move from smartphone to no smartphone.
