We are zoche to a "rabbim" in Lakewood. That means when we are encouraged to take on something to improve for Hshm, we are zoche to see it in numbers. We're at the point where everyone in Lakewood knows about technology etc, and the majority try to do what they can.
I'm wondering, what about ex a place like Manchester UK, or Eretz Yisrael? Is it also just as accepted in those areas? Have most yeshiva ppl also dropped the smart phones there if they were able to? And one is almost embarrassed to pull out their smart, or somewhat uncomfortable? Or is not as rampant? Meaning 'Not so much'
Im genuinely wondering what's going on in other places, outside of Lakewood

I've lived in UK and EY
Standards are stricter there
Automatically its less done
