Call wedding halls and see which ones has dates available and when so you'll know your option and can confirm as soon as they get engaged.
Look into names of party planner for vort If you'll be hiring one.
Search for vort halls near you (you can't really book until you know when it will be)
Look for a dress(for you and your daughter)
Make sure the rest of the family has everything they need! Sew buttons on shabbos suit!

Immediate expenses: Deposit on a hall, cost of vort, and payment for Shadchan. Clothing for vort, if needed.
Depending on where you live, start looking for a Kallah teacher and a hall for Shabbos Sheva Brachos as soon as it's official and the wedding date is booked.
After that, start making calls to place your family for Shabbos Sheva Brachos.
If you are lucky enough to have a relative or friend in a similar income bracket to yourself, ask for advice regarding norms for the Simcha.
