We are going out of town and there is going to be a TV where we are staying with Netflix. Are there any jewish kid movies on Netflix? Hoping for a very kosher movie night

Jewish? No. Appropriate? Maybe. Probably not any movies..
Also depends on kids ages. Netflix has Barney, for example, but that only works if you have little kids

There is a kids page on Netflix that will have very family friendly content. Nothing jewish unless you count you're so invited to my bat mitzvah or unorthodox... Or Jewish matchmaking?

Most of the kid content is not very kosher, FYI

Family friendly doesn’t mean Frum friendly. FYI

Will you have internet access there?
Kosher.com has free fun shows.
Yoel Gold website you have to pay for the shows but they are always beautiful.

There's a cute movie about a puppy called Benji.
You can find The Magic School Bus if you're kids are fans.

Trash Truck is a very clean and sensory friendly (quiet, not a lot of cuts, not over stimulating) show for young kids, if that helps.

I know. That's why I said family friendly. They're appropriate for kids in the world today - not for Frum families who want kosher content.

I wouldn’t say that. There’s nothing wrong with watching shapes. I actually think 1 year old kids watching shapes and colors can be educational. Now, they’ll always remember shapes and colors moving.

Just to chime in here. I know parents get very excited when their little one year old knows shapes and colors at a young age form watching but it’s really not ideal. Experiencing learning through a screen does not enter the brain in the same way and cannnot compare to experiential learning. Is it the worst thing? No but It’s really not a GOOD thing.
