Aliza vs shoshana for an Adar baby.

Me and DH each prefer a different one. Both is not an option.

What do you guys think? Pros and cons (I know it’s an opinion! Just trying to decide and need help!)

Yeshivish if it matters.

I think you should consider nicknames too - it’s almost inevitable especially with Shoshana. I actually think I prefer Shoshana to Aliza but I don’t love Shani and I really don’t love Shoshie. No offense to anyone, just giving my opinion as asked.

I don’t go for Shoshi and I have a close relative named shani, so those two are out. I guess I’d go with Shana if anything.

Aliza doesn’t need a nickname does it? Of course there are nicknames like leeze but not a real name that other ppl use for real

I don't think nicknames are almost inevitable, but maybe it's community dependent. I know several Shoshanas who go by Shoshana.

I don't think either name is obviously adar. I like that.

Another vote for Aliza.
