Help me feel better about myself

I hate the way I look I have gained so much weight and am having trouble Finding the motivation to lose it Embarrassing most of it is pregnancy weight form a pregnancy that was not so resent . My clothing is so bla worn out old and random ugly I have so few thing that fit but I don’t want to spend until I lose the weight I did buy some things from shein in the spring and it did help but Now I won’t buy from them. I have one wig I don’t wear it every day and I don’t have like a fall to just toss on . I have issues with Facial hair and dry skin when I want to look nice I know I can and do but these days it just gets me so down . Really I don’t know how to shop for myself so even when I buy something I usually end up not loving it . I don’t know how to try different styles and I get stuck with comfort.
I want to feel good about myself I just don’t know how too right now .

I feel really similar.

I also have facial hair , it bothers me a lot.

I have a cheap wig that I throw on but I dont look great in it.

When I take the time to prep myself I feel like I look good, but then when I go out I feel like Im a fake and everyone looks gokd effortlessly while I have to try so hard.

I wish someone would give me their honest opinion about how I look, and how I can look good and feel good myself

I had a stage like this and realized that the self acceptance and live has to come first. Invest in yourself. Get well fitted clothing. Take the time to take care of what you need tobfeel good. Once you truly accept where you are now it will be easier to lose the weight as you are not stuck in a loop. You can be beautiful at any size.

Can you work on what you can take of?

Maybe..
You can remove (permanently better) your facial hair.
You can try to help your dry skin
You can buy clothing that looks better and more flattering for you
You can take 5 minutes in the morning to put on some makeup
Etc.

Buy yourself two nice outfits. Not cheap shein stuff. Maybe something from frum stores that are going to be on sale now.

And, get a very fashionable pair of shoes/booties.


See if on the days you wear them, you feel a little better.
I am pregnant and very large and round right now and I am really having a hard time with how I look, but on days I wear nicer things and nicer shoes, my mood is better.
