Im in the market for new sofa and everywhere I look, everyone is getting single cushion curved sofa. Isn't single cushion problematic for a couple to sit on during times of niddah?! How does everyone have this couch?

It is problematic. Ask a Rav how to go about that. Maybe it allowed if someone sits between you or there's an object between you?
