Planning to go with my husband for 4 nights in Feb. Any quiet beach/es we can go to? Also bike rental and nice quieter biking trail not by the beach? And would love updated list of best dairy and meat places for brunch & dinner..
TIA

I always recommend Point dume, it’s beautiful! And you can find a beach that looks quiet as you drive there or back. You can rent bikes in Santa Monica.
Beverly Hills bagel co is good for brunch
Jeff’s- fast food but delicious
shilos, pats, La gandola- steak houses
Fish grill
Meshuga 4 sushi
There are tons and tons of places to eat up and down pico

That's not a Jewish area at all. Far.
40+ min away.

Hacienda Heights is not really city center nor is it near any of the frum communities so I'm not aware of any shuls in the area though there may likely be a chabad and mid-day mincha/maariv for people that work at the area.

All the restaurants mentioned previously are about a 45 minute drive away, depending on traffic.

We ate our way through LA and Lenny's Casita was by far our favorite. So good! We hiked/walked around the Hollywood Reservoir. I believe you can bike it (definitely double check, don't take my word for it) but it was a really pleasant, easy, scenic route.

Those boundaries are great and also a little narrow, if you're coming for Shabbos and walk-ability is important I would definitely keep them in mind. If you're here during the week and have a car or don't mind ubering there are also plenty of really nice and fun places and areas near enough to the frum communities that frum amenities and even many attractions are more accessible than Hacienda Heights.

Not staying over Shabbos.. we're aware that neighborhood not frum, but so far found nice villa with pool at a reasonable price point in that area.. we're going to have a car and love the driving part.. but I'm definitely going to search for one in a better location now..

In the end I'm staying approx 10 min drive from Pico. What are most popular shuls with avail minyanim morning and afternoon/evenings? (Not shabbos)
