Do I really need to start booking now if I want a slot or can I wait until after shavuos?

Depends if you're makpid on location, morah that's doing it or price.
If you're flexible, you can wait. You will always find a daycamp that has room.
If you want davka in your neighborhood or an experienced morah then don't wait!
