Hi,
Im thinking of making a indoor table grill sheva brochos.
Anyone ever done this before?
I know the people would enjoy it.
just thinking about logistics of it, like when to set up the grills-Main course time or before the event?
What did you serve for first course and dessert?
Where the ladies able to handle the grilling themself?
thank you so much.
even if you have never done a indoor grill event and have ideas I would love to hear.....

Don't do it inside and do it far away from the entrance. It will smell up the area, your guests won't appreciate it. The area gets smokey and it will cling to their hair and clothes. Speaking from experience.

Personally, I would not grill inside. It's smells. It gets yucky. I have done barbecue events though where we grilled outside. Why don't you grill the food before outside and put it in Sternos or make really nice boards out of it? Like you can have a big hot dog board, a big burger board, or, chicken board, etc.
I've been to very elegant events where the food was grilled as well.

Always outside though.

Don't. It's different when you go to a steak house where they have professional equipment that can feed larger crowds.
A small electric grill will take ages and if you have a crowd how do you plan to do it logistically? Then grill master will be glued to them grill unable to leave it for a moment.

Dont do it. Our favorite thing as kids were these restaurants where they cooked at your table. It was fun but you reeked when you left. Id be very frustrated if dry clean clothing and my sheital smelled like smoke and food smells.
