I am looking to decorate my living room/ playroom area. It is a large two story open room. I have a navy couch and wood floor .I am thinking it needs an area rug and some wall decor. Right now the rug is more important for me to get. I am thinking of something blue so it’s practical but I would like for it to have some color. Being that it’s open to the whole house I still want it to have a classy look.
Any inspo?

not sure how to find it but last month someone linked a few nice ideas for a navy and gray color scheme

I really appreciate the responses! The abstract one is really nice, but I think I would need a larger size . Also, maybe a darker color would be more practical to hide stains.

Don’t go too navy, the couch and rug don’t necessarily need to be all match, it might be too much dark.
Add throw pillows to compliment the rug colors.
Add oversized art.
Add plants.
Don’t be afraid to play around with rug color/design. Rugs are so versatile and there are very few rules besides for making sure they’re not too small.
