Madam Secretary is amazing. Not a period drama - it’s a political drama. But it’s smart, well-written, with plenty of feel-good subplots and wholesome values in there.

Madam secretary is #relationshipgoals. I love them and great storylines.

I'm not sure if it's still on Prime (they pulled a lot of good stuff) but I liked Beecham House. Also Sanditon and the BBC Emma if it's still on there. And Under the Greenwood Tree. And Young Victoria. I don't know if these are really feel-good but they have romance and happy endings. If you're feeling old school, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman is on prime via freevee and is pretty feel-good. The Durrells of Corfu is another one that's kind of funny and feel-good. And I liked Belgravia but it had its ups and downs. Same for Dr. Thorne.

Yes, how could I forget about Gilmore Girls?! OP, not a period drama but one of the most feel-good series out there. Not necessarily with romance, but there is that in there too.
