Actually didn't calculate it but I'd say it's probably cheaper. I think it's also nicer to give something homemade.

You can give something bigger and nicer when its homemade without breaking the bank. I typically bake and assume most people chuck but its still more impressive looking than a small drink and snack.

Depends what you're buying. You can for sure but ones, at least in Brooklyn, that are the same cost of baking but they're small and pure junk.
