So my challah dough didnt rise a lot. Yeast is good (not expired), flour was room temp, and dough was left to rise in a warm environment. Im think maybe the water was too hot? If it was, would the yeast water mixture not bubble then? Because mine did.
What do I do now?
I really dont want to dump.

Heat up your oven to 200. Boil up a lot of water. When oven is heated, shut it off, put in a pan with boiling water on the floor of the oven and put in your dough. Shut the door. Check on it ina little while, it should help.
