Why is it that when I’m added to a groupme texting chat, I can see other people’s messages but they dont get mine?
Anyone ever had this? I have a iPhone. Please help me

No. Cuz last time I downloaded the app I all of a sudden lost the group completely.
So this time when I was invited to the group chat it said I shoud reply to the message or download groupme app. So I chose to reply and thats what happened

GroupMe is funny sometimes.
I would ask the person to remove you and then add you again.
Also, try responding from the app and see if that does work.
Regarding you receiving messages on the app, check your settings if it’s for sms or not and if notifications are on/off.

I was only success on groupme on a smartphone, after I got on to the app.

When I was having issues with group me I called them and they were able to fix it for me. Don’t remember how I reached out but you can try googling

I find GroupMe very temperamental. I'm on several groups and get SMS texts. Somehow, though, I'm unable to get SMS messages from one of the groups. I'm only able to view the messages if I open the app.
