Before I purchase something for an 8 yr old girl

Is the style for girls Shabbos dresses
All wrinkly
Or do mothers/housekeepers spend hours ironing for the dress to look all wrinkle in 1/2 hr.

Or is this not the style for Shabbos dresses
And if so please post the styles

I know to ask the mom first, but I want to know

I don’t get the question?

My husband irons our daughters clothes. Not a big job. I don’t think about wrinkles once she’s wearing them. She’s a kid: she’s meant to play and not think about how she looks.

Not my question
I’m seeing a lot of very wrinkly cottony/lineny dresses that are almost impossible to iron
And just putting it on would cause it to be EXTREMELY wrinkled

I’m asking before I buy something that makes the mom’s job harder.

55% Cotton 45% Linen Dress

We don’t iron clothing so I don’t buy stuff that needs to be ironed

I don't know what other people do but I definitely don't iron my 8 year old's Shabbos dress. I just don't buy the styles that look really wrinkly--choose other ones instead.

Im asking if that’s the style.
The mom likes the kids to be in the latest “Jewish store” style
I want to buy 1 YT dress for each of the girls

I don't understand. It doesn't look wrinkled... if it wrinkles most people don't think its a big deal.

Some clothes need to be ironed after washing. (This isn’t a new invention….!?.)
I usually reserve those dresses for Shabbes and look for lower maintenance for weekday.

My mil likes to buy my kids one new dress each for every yt. I appreciate it so much and appreciate even more that she lets me choose it. Would that work for you?

Yes
I like to choose the best bang for your buck
But I think that’s my best option
I think I’ll give her a budget and let her choose

I hang kidichic dresses to dry and they look great. Most kids around my area don’t have perfectly ironed clothing. They run and play it gets creased in 2 seconds anyway. I don’t think most people put so much effort in.

I don’t think that one will wrinkle so much. I’m not seeing tons of linen, don’t think it’s the most popular material choice. I got a lot from kidichic this season, none are linen. Why not choose another dress?

My MIL gives me a usually a budget of $500 for 5 kids. I have expensive nice taste and I much rather than her spending $500 on clothes I won't like.
I spend it as I wish. Usually on expensive dresses for my girls. She doesnt mind at all what I do with it. (Sometimes I spend it on myself and show her to random ouutfits that this is what I got lol)

I’ll do similar, thanks for the advise.
$600 - family of 6 (4 kids/ 2 adults) and let her choose how to spend it.
Just I don’t want that money to go for other bills, I went them to have nice things for YT.
We are also helping with some bills.
At this moment I can’t do more than that.

Yes fully agree with the other mother. It's much more of a bang for your buck if the mother of the child likes the outfit.
Like I would not want the dress you're looking at. She may have different taste than you...
Regardless, it is so nice of you to want to buy them something!

You can give her a gift card to a store if you only want it spent on clothing

Don’t do that because if she wants to match, she’ll likely have to go to many different stores
