I do lots of stuff with it.

chopped it into a pan with a jar of marinara and put it on noodles.

chopped it up and put mayo and (like tuna) with spices.

sauteed it with veggies and put it with rice

in our house my kids love it and snack on it.

This isn't exactly a recipe but I saute it in olive oil with lots of slivered garlic and a little green onion until the edges are brown and crunchy. Sprinkle with lemon juice and serve over pasta or salad greens. Serve either plain or with pasta sauce. I never have any leftovers!

I think it's called Kani. When I buy a California roll sushi, it is an imitation crab called Kani. People have told me you can find it in Flatbush but it is not worth it for me to shlep to Flatbush for it.

I'm on the other coast. I get a brand called Dyna-Sea. It comes in various types (sticks, fake shrimp etc). The imitation crab is called "lobster bite" sirimi seafood. It's got a chof-K hecksher. They sell it (frozen) at kosher markets all over here.

I don't live in BP, but I would think that it's the type of thing that Landau's on 18th Ave. would carry....

If you pour boiling water over it and then quickly drain it, the texture changes for the better.

I pour boiling water over it and add onion or consomme "Ten Soup," garlic powder, ginger, sliced scallions, for a quick Chinese style soup.

Mix with chopped peppers, tomatoes, onions, mayo, garlic, as a salad.

Weird combo, but when I'm in a hurry, I dip it in chummous.

Google any shrimp, crab, lobster recipes and replace with this.

Its not really recipes, I kind of just through things together.

For the marinara I just pour and jar of marinara into a pot and through in the chopped imitation crab meat (I chop it more than what is already in the package) and heat that up and then pour onto noodles.

It can also be sauteed with onions and and veggies you like and poured onto rice.
