I just want to know what to expect. How much should it cost me to change the battery to an expensive watch?

I had a battery changed for $15 but maybe super expensive watches have a different battery or more parts to consider?
My watch was $400 for reference.

I have my Concord watch battery changed every 2-3 years at Simpsons. It costs about $35.
It's been 20 years and now I needed to change the movement. $200

Less than $50 for my cartier. My husband took it in and doesn’t remember how much. I have to change it so infrequently

A more expensive watch shouldn’t cost more. My local nonJewish place charges $10 for any battery fix.

An automatic watch needs to be wound. You have to either wind it manually or set it on a winder. If it still doesn't work then it needs repairs and that can cost you.
