Apple Ipod problem-
When DD tries to sync- plugs it in, starts syncing and stops and it says "the required disc cannot be found".

Can it be that it’s trying to sync with an external drive by default and it no longer finds the external drive? See this help file http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1539
