I put a yam in the microwave last night for what I thought was 5 minutes but I must have done at least 15 instead, needless to say the yam caught on fire and my microwave is now black from the smoke. I tried cleaning it with baking soda and vinegar which helped, but it still smells- does anyone have some good remedies?

rub the walls with half a lemon? sprinkle baking soda on the lemon on round 2.
