Can you freeze tzimmes? I think I remember doing so before with success, but I know that carrots don't usually freeze well. Does anyone know? Thanks a lot!

Carrots don't freeze well, their texture changes. Much better fresh if possible.

Actually, it freezes very well. ( I HATE it but make it for DH). I add flanken or cholent meat, honey, sugar, pineapple chunks with juice, potatoes, sweet potatoes & some oil/marge. Usually I need to add some water to stop it burning. Just boil until the liquid is absorbed & everything is soft. Then cool, portion & voila!!
