Left over gefilte fish

Usually we finish the fish by the end of Shabbos, but for those times that we have some left in the fridge, what do you do with leftover fish?

I usually boil or bake mine. Is there a recipe for making it into a "new" dish? Has anyone breaded and fried leftover fish slices? or mashed it and made it into burgers?

I am sure you can bread and fry it. Quick & Kosher has a salmon gefilte fish croquette recipe, but it calls for a raw gefilte fish loaf.
Personally, when we have leftovers, I like to eat a cold, moist slice of gefilte fish in a small challah roll sandwich for lunch. But other people think that idea sounds gross Smile

Yum, with a smear of chrain.

I found that it lasted until the next shabbos and that was it. It really depends on which gefilte fish, homemade and not.
