I`m lookng for a purple Cabbage salad with mayo that I can make now(thusrday) for Shabbos, any ideas???

thinly slice cabbage and mix vinegar with mayo with salt and pepper and sprinkle of sugar to cut the bitterness

Israeli Cabbage Salad
Quick and Kosher by Jamie Geller

1 (10 ounce) bag shredded red cabbage
4 tablespoons light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper

Place cabbage, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a salad bowl. Mix to coat cabbage. Chill for 1 hour and serve.

I think some sugar might be needed in this recipe.

Can probably be made today, because it's kind of like cole slaw, which can be made in advance.
I made it once because of it's simplicity, but personally, I don't like mayo or cabbage, so I don't know why I bothered. I like most of Jamie Geller's Quick and Kosher recipes though, so if you like mayo and purple cabbage, you will probably like this.
