My challa dough is rising and I just made a last-minute decision to make pizzataschen with it.

My plan is to assemble individual round pizzas, (uhh... with jarred spagheti embarrassed sauce and mozarella) then fold the into triangles and bake.

-> Anything I need to do to ensure these are still hamotzi?
-> any tips or ideas on how to make this better?
-> Any reason why this would flop? I can't afford mistake so late in the game..

That is so cute! I dont have any advice, other than maybe try a few to see how they come out before you do a bunch.

Do you plan to use them for the seuda or for MM or just general noshing?

Please let us know how they come out and if it's easy for you take a picture.

PS Why are you embarassed to use jarred sauce? Who makes their own sauce? You are amazing for baking your own challah on Purim day!

I've made something similar, and always comes out great...didn't think to make them as hamentashen (even though I just finished making challah-tashen!), will definitely do that next year!

thanks for the advice!

These were the motzi for our seuda. overall a success.
I apologize but with all the last-minute preps I did not get a chance to get a photo.

pros:
pretty
guests oohd and ahd
very kid-friendly

cons:
DH said there challa/filling ratio was too high. If I make these again I'll roll the pizzas thinner.
very time sensitive, guests weree late so the cheese was a bit solidified by the time we ate.
