Anybody missing music during Sefira?

I'll print a lyric - name that tune and who is it sung by:

I'll start with an easy one...

"It's a girl my lord in a flat bed Ford slowing down to have a look at me"

Next person lists the next lyric.

The Eagles, one of my all-time faves:

Come on baby...
don't say maybe..
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna saaaave me...

Oh no, why'd you start this thread?

I'm sleeping
and right in the middle of a good dream
when all at once I wake up
with something that keeps knocking at my brain.....

I started it for one reason -

I know it's only rock and roll...but I like it.

Please keep this up, since the Brady Bunch thread died down I have been itching for a new addictive-compulsive thread....

Yes - the Brady Bunch was a good one. But yours doesn't ring a bell. My "genre" is classic rock (Beatles, Sprinsteen, Neil Young, The Band etc.) and 70's California rock - like The Eagles, Jackson Browne.

When are you going to land?"

In all the time I've know you I still don't know what you mean...

You know what the problem with this game is? When I write the lyrics and sing the song in my head it's so easy and obvious.

I know I know that one ...it's gonna drive me crazy. I will not cheat...I will not cheat...I will not cheat.

The other problem is not giving in to the temptation to google.

OK - I cheated. I can't even play my own game.

But I need to go to sleep and that would have kept me awake.

Reeling in the Years.

I'll leave you with one of my all time favorite lyrics and feel free to cheat if you must:

"Show a little faith
there's magic in the night.
You ain't a beauty but hey, you're alright"

THUNDER ROAD!
Great song...here's one for you for tomorrow:

I was stranded in the combat zone..
I walked through Beford-Stuy alone...
