do you teach your toddlers at home certain things, ie. about an upcoming Yom Tov, some words of davening, or psukim by heart? Alef Bais?
I'm looking for ideas.

There is a great website e-Chinuch.org that has lots of info.
I always make projects with my little ones before each Yom Tov..honey dishes, a paper lulav and esrog, matzto covers (I used to teach in an elementary school!) Many Jewish bookstores have books of projects you can so with little kids..and you can easily modify them for really little kids.
I also go to the library with my 3 year old and pick out books that relate to a holiday..for Tu B'shevat we went and picked out a pile of books, looked at them when we got home and made pictures of trees!
