is it normal at this age for my daughter to cry every time I leave her? even when I leave her with my husband?? I go in the shower and she crys
she is very attached
how do I teach her to be more independent
im nervous about school she will be with kids she does not know I feel like its gonna be so overwhelming for her
any insight would be helpful

why do you think she cries every time? has she ever been left in a situation she wasnt comfortable with and is scared it will happen again? are there any reasons for this feeling she has?

Is this a newer thing, or has her attachment consistently been like this?
A child's imagination kicks into high gear ~3 yrs, so things which were not unsettling before, may become unsettling.
ie. leaving her with tatty to take a shower might trigger all sorts of ideas, memories of dreams, etc.

I wish I knew why she is afraid I cant think of any specific situation that triggered this. I dont leave her often, but if I do its with someone she knows I.e my husband bubby aunt cousin
She has been like this at least for a year .this past year she was at playgroup. and would cry every day when I left her, it didnt last long but she just never grew out of it
