I was planning on going to Six Flags this year with my kids, but NCSY are not doing it this year.

Instead they will be in Herhsy Park on Monday, Oct 5th.

Has anyone been there with kids the ages of mine - 3yrs and 5 yrs?

Will they enjoy it? Is there a lot of walking? How about the Zoo or chocolate exhibits?
I would like to plan a FUN day out for the family and want to know if this is worth the drive...

TIA

Have been to both, and think Hershey Park is far superior to Great Adventures. Most of my kids are teenagers now, but they still prefer Hershey. Seems to us (no scientific analysis, just around the table discussion) that HP has more kiddie rides, is more wholesome and overall more enjoyable. GA some really wild rides, long waits, and superheroes. Also, they love the Chocolate World tour Zoo america ok, nothing special. On a personal note, with kids this age, unless you yourselves love getting away/amusement parks, they can also be satisfied with smaller scale activities close to home. Launching rockets in a local park, flying kites, smaller ride centers, apple picking etc. Having said that,we plan to go to Hershey this year again with a group of families with special needs/medically involved kids and are all looking forward to it, especially my eight year old. Chag Sameach whatever you decide!

thanks for your reply.
I've took my kids to Great Adventures this summer and they loved it...they had the park map for weeks afterwards, looking at all the rides they went on, so I wanted to know if hershey park would be enjoyed too.
only thing is that Great Adventures is only 45 mintues drive from me...and hershy park is a lot further.
