My daughter made a B.M. in the bath  (ew!)
and is now PETRIFIED of the bath- and until last week she LOVED it!
She's only 2, so I'm not sure what I can say to her so she'll understand..
HELP! 3 baths later I'm SICK of fighting with her

Maybe let her try wearing a bathing suit/underwear/diaper in the bath. My son used to make in the bath and was terrified. I let him wear something and he felt more secure and didn't fight it. My problem now is that I'm trying to get him to stop

sit her on the toilet and train her ... she'll feel more comfortable knowing where the poopy goes - when it's not in the tub ...

The same exact thing happened with my 21/2 yr. old. (At least that's the only reason I can think of why he screams during the bath now) OP- what happened with your daughter , did she just get over it - any tips? My son went from loving baths to acting as if its the plague.

What was your reaction like when she pooped?
If it was a startling reaction then please just remember if it happens again to try and remain calm and not show freak out, because she will feel it and react to it.
can you get one of those swimming diapers for the meantime till she gets used to it again?
