My son hasn't woken up at 5 since he was a year and a half. All of a sudden he wakes up at and is wide awake. We try to put him back to sleep but I completely uninterested and awake. What do we do toget him to sleep atleast until 6. He used to sleep until 7:30, then on yom tov we went away and he was woken up every morning at 6:30, and since then he has not slept well. HHHEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when my 4 1/2 yr old wakes too early, I put on a fascinating story tape that takes 1-2 hour and he quietly listens in his bed for 1-2 hours.

Do you think it can be b/c it starts getting lighter now in the morning? MAybe its worth getting blackout blinds for his room it might help.
