My 2.5 DD has B'H trained very quickly and easily and is now only wearing a pull up for naps and night time. She is very good about urinating on the toilet and goes by herself or asks me to take her. She is happy to do a BM on the toilet but for a good couple of hours before she actually goes we spend a vast majority of the time running back and forth to the toilet- she can feel she needs to go, but as soon as she sits down she says "nothing is coming yet" she has no patience to sit and wait a few min, and despite my collection of books to read while we "try" she is up and down a thousand times before she actually succeeds in going. Also, I now think she must be somewhat constipated because she can be "trying" for many hours before successful. for instance she starting going back and forth yesterday evening around 6:00 and only managed to do a BM around 11:00 this morning. She does not seem in pain at all in between, except for the many trips to the toilet for her to try. It's now 5pm and she seems to be more uncomfortable like she was last night.

I guess I have 2 issues, one is patience on the potty- which I know will come in time but is DRIVING ME CRAZY!
and constipation- any tips?
